Our RF GREEN electronics research is highly experimental and often have immediate links with real-world applications.

Public Exhibits

We present our GREEN Microwave Electronics at major science festivals and venues, such as the Glasgow Science Festival, at the Glasgow Riverside Museeum (Transport and Technology Museum).

Hundreds of visitors experienced next-generation wireless power first-hand, including finding invisible microwave signals in a maze!

Across the University

Every year, our GREEN Electronics stall at the Glasgow Explorathon Weekend at UofGlasgow's Advanced Research Centre attracts hundreds of visitors from various backgrounds. Our visitors experienced first-hand how microwaves can deliver clean power, monitor soil and ice and remote envirnoments, and power implants.

The inter-disciplinary exhibition showcased research from various teams across different research groups, showing how microwave technologies can co-exist.

Our recent collaborative research (with the University of Southampton and IFREMER, France), published in the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems, has been featured in various TV and radio shows, most recently on CBBC's Operation Ouch.
